Overview

This section documents the metrics that Simple Observability can collect from your servers.

Metrics are numerical time-series sampled at regular intervals. They are used to monitor resource usage, capacity trends, and abnormal behavior over time.

Metric sources

CPU

Monitor per-core and aggregated CPU usage ratio

Memory

Memory usage, cache, buffers, and swap activity.

Disk

Disk space usage and I/O activity per device.

Network

Network throughput, packets, and errors per interface.

NGINX

Request rates and connections statistics for NGINX servers.
