Overview

Alerts are notifications triggered by a defined event, such as a metric crossing a threshold (e.g., CPU usage above 90% for 5 minutes). Alert channels are the endpoints where these notifications are sent.

Simple Observability supports sending alerts to various channels, with more being added over time. You can configure multiple channels to receive alerts.
