You can connect ntfy.sh to Simple Observability to receive alerts as real-time push notifications on any device — desktop, mobile, or browser. This gives you instant visibility without needing to keep dashboards open.

How it works

  • Simple Observability sends an HTTP POST request to your ntfy topic URL whenever an alert fires.

Integration walkthrough

Connecting ntfy.sh

  1. In your Simple Observability account, navigate to the Channels page.
  2. In the top right corner, click the Add Channel button.
  3. From the list of channel types, select ntfy.sh.
  4. Enter the ntfy topic URL where you want to receive alerts (e.g. ntfy.sh/my-topic).
  5. Save the channel.

Sending a test alert

To verify the integration, click the Test button after creating the channel.

A test message is sent to your ntfy topic.

How to uninstall

To remove the ntfy.sh integration, delete the associated channel within your Simple Observability account. This immediately stops all notifications being sent to your ntfy topic.
